Wednesday Class 9/23/09

In class, we took a quiz on the play “Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin and then we had to hand in our draft of our essay.  We had to write a cover letter of our draft, the cover letter was answers of the questions that were provided by Professor Rosen and we had to write it as a letter. Professor Rosen gave us few minutes to make last small changes on our essay.  After that she told us that we have to hand in our essays electronically by using the site Dropbox. She told us that now we have to hand in a copy of our essay and also the file of our essay in order for it to be graded. We also started reading the play “Story of an Hour” and used different types of notes to enhance our understanding of the play.

Homework: Read “A Rose for Emily” by William Faulkner (Link provided on blog) then post a reading response on the blog.
